How is a commercial rooftop PV system sized?

Commercial PV is not sized from available roof area alone. Twelve months of consumption, the daily load curve, connection capacity, transformer data, structural limits, shading and fire-access corridors must be reviewed together. The objective is a buildable system matched to the facility's production and consumption profile.

The preliminary review uses electricity bills and facility data. A technical survey then confirms dimensions, switchgear and connection points. Final module layout, inverter architecture, cable routes and energy-yield estimates follow the engineering assessment.

Which inputs matter for the investment decision?

A payback assessment cannot rely on module price alone. Self-consumption, electricity tariffs, alignment with operating shifts, roof preparation, grid and permitting requirements, maintenance access and warranty terms all affect total cost. A generic price per kWp is therefore not a binding quotation.

A proposal should state equipment models, DC and AC capacity, estimated annual yield, exclusions, warranties, monitoring and commissioning responsibilities. Turuncu Solar prepares a binding proposal after survey and engineering verification.

Frequently asked questions

Which documents are needed for commercial rooftop solar?

The initial review needs recent bills, the facility address, contracted or connection capacity and roof plans where available. Formal project documents are confirmed during engineering according to the connection type and distribution region.

Can installation proceed while the facility is operating?

Roof and electrical works can be phased under a site safety plan. Connection steps that require an outage are scheduled with the operator in advance.

Important notice

Pre-analysis is an estimate based on system type, location and consumption assumptions. A binding quote follows survey and engineering. KVKK/privacy consent is required to submit the form.
